Privacy Policy

1. Who this Policy covers

This Policy covers visitors to the public site, users of the free browser tools, founding-pilot applicants, and authenticated workspace users. If you store information about your own customers in a workspace, you are responsible for that customer data and for having a lawful basis to collect and use it. We process that data only to provide the Service to you.

2. Information we collect

Free tools (browser-only)

Calculator values, customer names, job details, review text, and generated message copy are processed locally in your browser. We do not send those tool inputs to an Enter 2 Estimate database or store them on our servers.

Account and authentication

Workspace access uses Google sign-in or passwordless email (magic link) through Supabase Auth. We and our auth provider may receive your email address and, when provided by Google, your profile name. We do not request access to Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, Drive, or Google Business Profile.

Founding pilot applications

When you apply, we collect the details you submit, which may include contact name, email, phone, business name, trade, team size, estimate volume, current systems, plan interest, price feedback, and bottleneck notes. We may also store acquisition context captured in your browser session (UTM source/medium/campaign, landing path, referrer host, and referral code). Applications do not include workspace customer or estimate records unless you type those details into the form yourself.

Authenticated workspace data

Signed-in workspaces store the customers, opportunities, estimates, follow-ups, activity, notes, attachment metadata (such as file name, size, and mime type), team membership, and settings that an authorized user chooses to add. Workspace records are stored in Supabase and scoped to the workspace. New workspaces start empty and do not copy records from the public demo. Message actions create drafts or activity records; they do not send customer messages on your behalf.

Suggestions and product feedback

A founding-pilot user may submit a suggestion with a category, the text they type, their user and workspace identifiers, the current workspace route, and the submission time. We do not automatically capture page contents, customer details, or estimate details with a suggestion.

Analytics and performance

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page traffic, tool completion, result-copy actions, next-step CTA clicks, anonymous usefulness feedback, acquisition and pilot funnel steps, and site performance. Custom events are designed not to include customer names, business names, review text, message content, application notes, or email addresses.

Referrals, partners, and platform operations

If you use a referral link or participate in partner or platform access programs, we may store referral codes, referral events, partner records, commission or credit records, and platform access grants (such as invited email and access level) needed to operate those programs.

Technical and host data

Our host (Vercel) and database/auth provider (Supabase) may process ordinary request, security, and performance data needed to deliver and protect the Service, such as IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, and auth cookies or tokens.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service
• Create and authenticate accounts and workspaces
• Review founding-pilot applications and follow up with you
• Send transactional messages (for example, sign-in links and portal onboarding emails)
• Understand product usage and marketing attribution at an aggregate or event level
• Operate referral, partner, and internal platform-access programs
• Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect the Service and users

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use free-tool inputs for advertising profiles.

4. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication and session management (for example, Supabase auth cookies). We also use browser storage for optional product features:

• sessionStorage may hold acquisition context (UTM and referral attributes) for the browser session so a later pilot application can include attribution.
• localStorage may cache workspace UI state on your device. Clearing site data in your browser removes that local cache.

Analytics and Speed Insights may set or read identifiers according to Vercel's practices. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent sign-in from working.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, under their own terms and privacy policies:

• Vercel — hosting, Web Analytics, and Speed Insights
• Supabase — authentication and workspace database storage
• Google — identity when you choose Google sign-in
• Resend — transactional email (pilot notifications and portal onboarding)

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction. Platform administrators and authorized staff may access pilot applications, suggestions, and operational records needed to run the Service.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, review pilot applications, operate accounts and workspaces, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Free tool inputs are not stored on our servers. You may delete many workspace records (customers, estimates, follow-ups, and related items) from within the product when your role permits. To request deletion of an account, pilot application, or other personal information we hold, email hello@enter2estimate.com. We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or backup integrity.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise a request, contact hello@enter2estimate.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If you are a California resident, you may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service, including provider-managed authentication, transport encryption, and workspace-scoped access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your email account and devices used to sign in.

9. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

11. Payments and future features

Subscription billing is not currently active. If we add payments, outbound customer messaging, or other integrations that collect additional personal information, we will update this Policy before those features collect that information.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, on the site or by email). Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
